A practical starting point

A service request, payment and a completed assignment are different stages. Review the scope and fees, then follow the confirmation and next-step instructions for your request.

The work Affid coordinates

Twelva Technologies Inc. operates Affid Serve as a brand and subdivision, coordinating process serving, court and document support, and Remote Assistant on-site assignments. The service description, request details and arrangements confirmed for the assignment identify the work to be undertaken. A service selected on the website does not include every related task unless that work is part of the confirmed scope.

Process serving concerns attempts to serve the supplied documents and the applicable record of the work. Court filing, courtesy copy delivery, records retrieval and courier work have distinct destinations and outcomes. Remote Assistant provides a defined on-site checklist, visit or runner assignment coordinated remotely. Stakeout for Service is scheduled time for attempting document service.

Requests, review and acceptance

Start through the client portal, signing in or creating an account as needed. Complete the service, case details, location, deadline and document information, then choose relevant add-ons and review the request. Creating an account or opening the form alone does not submit an assignment.

Eligible process-serving and court or document-support requests can proceed to online checkout at the published location and due-date rate. Rush or Same-Day timing does not itself require a separate quote. Requests with an unresolved address or a service requiring confirmation, such as Remote Assistant or a partner-service inquiry, go to the team for review. An estimate, a requested date or an unfinished checkout does not establish that work has been scheduled or completed.

Where online payment is required, its status must be confirmed by the payment system. Returning from a payment page is not, by itself, proof of payment or completed work. Ask the team if the status or next step is unclear before starting another payment.

Information and instructions you provide

Provide accurate recipient and location details, the prepared document packet, relevant deadlines and useful handling or access instructions. You are responsible for having authority to request the work and share the information supplied. Tell us which steps depend on an earlier pickup, delivery, filing or other result.

Affid provides practical service coordination rather than legal advice about which documents to use, what a court requires or how to pursue a case. Confirm legal strategy, document requirements and deadlines with your legal adviser or the appropriate source. Supplying documents for delivery does not mean they have been reviewed for legal sufficiency.

Timing and outcomes

Identify the actual deadline, including its date and time, and distinguish it from a hearing, appearance or production date when relevant. Service levels, requested dates and estimates help plan the work; any availability or timing that needs review must be confirmed for the particular assignment.

An attempt is not a guarantee of successful service. Delivery of a filing packet is separate from court acceptance. Records retrieval depends on what the court makes available, and site work depends on the agreed access and circumstances. Affid reports the available outcome; an unsuccessful result does not by itself mean that no work was performed.

Prices, payment and additional costs

Published prices and website calculations explain the service rates and provide estimates. The applicable service, recipient count, address classification, timing and add-ons determine the proposed total. Review the amount and scope shown at checkout or confirmed by the team before proceeding. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless expressly identified otherwise.

Court, witness, subpoena, government and other third-party fees are separate from Affid’s service rate. When you request an advance for these fees, the full advance amount plus $15 per check is collected with the service payment. Printing is calculated from the uploaded document page count, with 50 pages included and $0.25 per additional page. Hourly services are based on the agreed work and time, with any additional expenses or special arrangements clarified before they are undertaken.

If instructions, an address, documents or scope change, contact the team promptly. A change may affect the price or timing and may require a revised arrangement. A request to add work does not itself confirm that the additional work has been scheduled.

Accounts, documents and shared records

Use the account email associated with your request or existing matter. Registration does not grant access to every matter involving your firm or another person. Contact the team when a colleague needs access or an expected matter is missing. Keep account credentials and sign-in links private.

Provide case documents through the portal or another sharing method arranged for the matter. Check that a packet belongs to the intended assignment, and identify any replacement version. General support conversations are for resolving questions; they should not contain confidential case packets, passwords or payment-card details.

Available reports, receipts and delivery records relate to the work performed and the information recorded. Review them and raise a specific question if something appears missing or inaccurate. Website previews and sample records are illustrative and are not documents for your actual matter.

Changes, cancellations and questions

Send a change or cancellation request promptly with the request reference and a clear description of what should change. Closing a browser, leaving checkout or ending a support conversation does not cancel work already arranged. The team must review the assignment’s current status and confirm the action it can take.

If work has not started and no third-party costs have been incurred, you are eligible for a full refund. Once work has started, the value of completed work and non-refundable third-party costs is deducted and the remaining paid balance is refunded. The Cancellation & refund policy explains how to request cancellation and an itemized review. These policies do not remove rights that apply under applicable law.
