What happens after a service request?

Understand checkout, requests that need review and the next step for your assignment.

Complete the request in the portal

Opening the client portal or creating an account alone does not submit a service request. Complete the Service, Case details and Add-ons steps, then review the information and fees at Review & pay. Follow the action shown for your request and read the resulting confirmation or next-step instructions. If you leave the process partway through, do not assume the work has been arranged.

Know whether the request needs review

Eligible fixed-price requests can proceed to checkout. Other requests go to the team for review of the scope, location, documents, timing and fees. Follow the next step shown for your request rather than assuming every service has the same checkout path. A website estimate or requested date does not, by itself, confirm a scheduled attempt or successful service.

  1. Keep any request reference and confirmation available so you can identify the same work.
  2. Provide requested clarifications, including document readiness and contacts for access or handoff.
  3. Check that the agreed next step and any outstanding materials are clear before proceeding.

Follow up with useful context

If you need clarification, include your account email, any request reference and the relevant deadline. Say which step you reached and what remains unclear. Keep case documents out of the support message. The team can help clarify what remains to be confirmed; this help page does not confirm payment, acceptance or dispatch.
