Check coverage for a California location

Use a ZIP or address estimate and understand what the location result means.

Maintained by AffidUpdated

Start with the intended location

Affid accepts requests across California, with the particular assignment and fees confirmed by the team. Use the coverage directory to explore the state and counties, or enter a ZIP code or address in the location checker. The location matters for both planning the work and estimating a regular or remote/rural service rate.

Understand a ZIP result and an address result

A ZIP code can include both urban and rural addresses, so its result may show both pricing levels. A complete street address gives a more specific estimate. The checker uses Census urban-area boundaries to estimate location classification; Affid confirms the final classification and fee. This estimate does not confirm a person’s availability or an attempt time.

  1. Enter the intended service location and select the service and timing you need.
  2. Check that the matched address describes the location you actually intend.
  3. Continue to the client portal, then check the location, timing and request details before proceeding. The website estimate is not a confirmed checkout total.

Ask about an unclear result

If the checker cannot find the location or the match looks wrong, ask the team to review it. For work outside California, contact the team to discuss the location rather than assuming coverage. Include separate pickup and delivery destinations when the assignment involves more than one place.
