Ask about a quote, invoice or payment

Give the team the right reference and explain the item you need clarified.

Identify the record you are asking about

Start with the quote, invoice or payment communication provided for your matter. These refer to different stages: a website estimate describes proposed service fees, while a billing question may concern work or payment arrangements already discussed with the team. Explain which record you have instead of relying on a number from the pricing calculator alone.

Make the question easy to locate

Use a non-confidential matter or billing reference, if one was supplied. Describe the item you need explained, such as a service tier, additional recipient, address change, timed task or third-party fee. If you are asking about a payment, include its date and amount so the team has useful context.

  1. Give your name, contact email and the reference associated with the record.
  2. Identify the line item, amount or payment arrangement you want clarified.
  3. State the outcome you need, such as an explanation, a copy of available billing information or payment instructions.

Use the arrangements provided for your matter

Ask the team to confirm any payment instructions or change to the agreed work. This help center prepares an email; it does not collect payment, issue refunds or change an invoice. Keep payment-card details, passwords and confidential case documents out of the message. The team can explain the appropriate next step for the specific question.
