Find and understand your deliverables

Know which records relate to your service and what to ask if a document is missing.

Match the record to the work performed

Deliverables depend on the agreed service and its outcome. Process serving includes applicable service documentation for the work performed. Local filing may produce a receipt, filed copy or returned packet. Courier and courtesy copy assignments provide the recorded delivery outcome and available confirmation. Records retrieval returns the records available for the agreed request.

Review what has been shared

Use your client workspace to open the relevant matter and review the deliverables available to you. Read them alongside the related update so the action and outcome are clear. The marketing website’s sample report is an illustration, not a service record, proof of service or document for your case.

  1. Identify the matter and the particular report, receipt or record you expected.
  2. Review the available document together with the update describing the work.
  3. If something is missing or unclear, ask the team about that specific deliverable and its status.

Explain what you need clarified

Give your account email and a non-confidential matter reference when asking for help. Describe the document type and the question, such as whether a filing receipt is available. If a record appears to contain an error, identify the point for the team to review. Questions about legal use or filing requirements belong with your legal adviser.
