Specify filing, courtesy copies or both
Local court filing is in-person filing support for a prepared packet. Courtesy copy delivery is a separate handoff to the designated court or department. If you need both, list both tasks and their order. Include the court, relevant case reference and the intended counter, department or delivery destination rather than relying on the court name alone.
Include the packet and handling requirements
Confirm which documents and copies are required with your legal adviser or the relevant court. Affid coordinates the agreed handoff; this help article does not select legal forms or establish filing requirements.
- Prepare the complete packet and specify copy count, format and any assembly instructions.
- Give the exact deadline, document-readiness time and pickup arrangements if collection is needed.
- State fee instructions and which available receipts, filed copies or returned materials you need back.
Review the reported result
The court’s acceptance is distinct from delivery of the packet. If material is returned or declined, the team reports the available outcome and returned information. Any correction, resubmission or additional work is discussed before being arranged. Courtesy copy confirmation should be read as the outcome of that delivery, not as confirmation that a filing was accepted.
