Provide documents for your matter

Follow the team’s request and keep the materials with the correct assignment.

Check what the team has requested

Start with the materials and instructions requested for your matter. For process serving, this may be a prepared document packet and recipient information. For a court handoff, it may include prepared copies and assembly instructions. Match the packet to the agreed task rather than sending unrelated parts of the case file.

Use the relevant matter or agreed sharing method

For a new service request, add the documents requested in the portal’s Case details step. For an existing matter, open that matter and follow its sharing instructions or another channel agreed with your team. If the destination is unclear or you cannot find where to provide the material, ask the team for guidance before sending the documents.

  1. Check the matter reference and the team’s list of requested materials.
  2. Keep the intended packet, any copy requirements and handling instructions together.
  3. Tell the team if a document replaces an earlier version or is not yet ready.

Ask for sharing instructions without attaching the packet

Provide your account email, a non-confidential reference and a general description such as “documents for service.” The help-center composer does not accept uploads. Keep confidential documents and detailed case information for the portal or another agreed channel, and ask for clarification if you are unsure which materials are required.
