Plan a Remote Assistant assignment

Create a useful checklist for on-site inspections and local runner tasks.

The assistant attends the location

Remote Assistant means on-site support coordinated remotely. It is for law firms, private investigators and other legal professionals who need someone locally to carry out a defined checklist, collect materials or support a field assignment. Describe the practical task and intended result so the team can review what is needed at the location.

Write a checklist someone else can follow

Identify the site and access contact, then list the tasks and deliverables. For a visit, specify the requested photographs, observations or notes. For runner work, give the pickup and delivery destinations, readiness times and handoff instructions. Separate essential tasks from items that depend on access or an earlier step.

  1. Provide the address, access arrangements and a contact who can answer questions during the visit.
  2. Describe the task checklist, requested time window and estimated hours.
  3. Agree on the photographs, notes or handoff confirmations that will make the result useful to your team.

Confirm the time and scope

The hourly rate starts at $80. The location checker provides a starting estimate for requested hours; the final hourly rate, scope and any expenses are confirmed before work begins. The agreed result includes a record of time spent and tasks completed, with the materials arranged for that assignment.
